Jun 5 2007, 1:48 AM EDT I am 45 and have listened to a wide range of music in my time and I feel that Lily is fantabulous, she`s unique, refreshing, she has something real to say vs. the same old bubble headed lyrics I am sick of from some young female and male performers. she`s real and to hear people say that she has no stage presence tells me we have been far too brain washed by too much tacky nudity and not enough real gutsy talent. It is refreshing to see young women with their own brand of sexy, talent and a brain...Nora Jones, is another wonderful example...Lily seduces the audience with kind of a sixties,killer poetic, raw, reality check, softness which is something I`ve never seen...and how wonderfull that she doesn`t feel the pathetic need to keep her boobs...just under her chin. I`m so proud of you Lily...its about time my daughters saw yet another female performer with the GUTZ to really be herself!!! Good for you! 2 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |
