Does anyone have any info about her album?
Feb 3 2008, 8:24 AM EST like songs maybe? or the name or cover? or anything about it? all i know is that its supposed to be released in april Q magazine said - only one title has been revealed, steve from accounts but i also heard it was going to me called just lily + lily says shes promising "a different direction" does anyone know anymore? 5 out of 5 found this valuable. Do you? |

Feb 4 2008, 8:43 PM EST So far, there's been very little info about the second album. She's said that she aims to retire after it -- not sure what that's about. She's only just started back to work after her miscarriage; she's shooting her upcoming TV show "Lily Allen and Friends." Not much coming out about a new album, though. They say it'll come out sometime this year...that's all we've got. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Apr 1 2008, 1:36 AM EDT From what I've heard... The first single, "Everyone's At It", is rumored to be released on July 3rd. The album, possibly titled "Just Lily" will follow later on. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Apr 17 2008, 9:20 PM EDT if you go on her myspace she just put up two new songs, basically demos for the new album, she said so you could get the direction in which she was moving, they are called "I don't know" (does feature the F word a few times) and I could say, both are different from her previous songs but in a good way Do you find this valuable? |

Background In April 2008, Allen announced that she was moving from Ska to electro pop on her upcoming record. According to The Sunday Mirror, the album is nearly finished. Allen said of the album "I've worked so hard. My next album is nearly finished. I'm on a two-week break and then I'm starting a massive promotional tour." Digitalspy described her new artistically direction as more mature, more reflective and more electronic. Allen has posted three demos on her MySpace page. The first two to appear were "I Could Say" and "I Don't Know." Later, a third clip appeared, firstly titled as "Guess Who Batman" but later changing to "Get Wit the Brogram." Allen wrote "this song is not a direct attack at anyone, it was originally written about the BNP in the UK but then I felt this issue has become relevant pretty much everywhere, we are the youth, we can make coolness for our future, its up to us. Many people think it is written about George W. Bush. Go green and hate hate". In the July 10-24 issue of Rolling Stone magazine, the title was confirmed as Stuck on the Naughty Step. Singles "Everyone's At It" will be the first single from Stuck on the Naughty Step. It has been rumoured lots of times as the lead single but now it has been confirmed as the lead single.
